Do you and/or will you use UI mods?

Im one of the people that use copious amounts of mods to put everything in the right place and the right size and to be used the way i like it. That been said, WAR have said lots of addon types wont be necessary(as the OP said). We'll see when WAR is released i guess.

I doubt I will use UI mods due to the fact of the UI being completely customizable. So there really is no need to.

Competly customisable to one person, is not the same as completly customisable to another. Its almost garenteed that there will be UI mods for people not 100% happy with the WAR UI.

Addon's for some games, like WoW, are a must have. Remains to be seen how well they did with Warhammer Online having all the needed features.

But with WoW, you can just look at all the UI improvements they made and how all of them have come from things the community did first. And they are still taking from community creations, adding a threat meter in Wrath.

So hopefully, the things that are missing and needed, either the community can develop and add to their game, or Mythic adds them to the game.

But I've NEVER played an MMO with a good default GUI, it always has to be tweaked. Developers just can't account for how every one likes to play their game. And some choices (character in top left corner) are just dumb ones that get repeated. (At least AoC did one thing right, character info in bottom middle)
